I’m happy to devote my first (and probably last for a while) blog entry to our daughter Roxanna Josephine Reid, who was born by caesarean section in Kirkland, Washington on my birthday, August 31, 2006. She is a beautiful and healthy 7lb 14oz baby girl with a quick wit and a charming personality.
So that’s it for the Name Our Baby Contest. We ended up combining the entries to make up a name using most of the proposed letters, so everyone’s a winner! We’ll start awarding prizes (the opportunity to babysit Roxanna) once we’re ready for a night out on the town.
