Ho Ho Home for the Holidays

The vet recently described Simon as being “fractious”, something about still trying to bite them while under heavy sedation. Well after spending a joyous Christmas with the critter, I am not so sure I agree with their assessment.  I would like to suggest that perhaps “princess” might be a more fitting description for our kitty.  See definitions below (mostly taken from the net) and you decide.

frac·tious
Pronunciation [frak-shuhs]
–adjective

1.       refractory or unruly: a fractious animal that would not
submit to the harness.

2.       readily angered; peevish; irritable; quarrelsome: an incorrigibly
fractious young man.

prin·cess

Pronounciation [prĭn'sĭs]
-noun

     1.  a regal cat regarded as having the status or qualities of a princess.

     2.  yet another take on the rising popularity of being a “princess” is  the gentleness and refined composure associated with the title. It often conjures images of elegance and self control, and among the younger generations, is a depiction of all things feminine and lovely.
