Happy Birthday Grandma Lois

Lois Birthday Dinner Roxanna joined in the fun celebrating her Grandma Lois’ 60th Birthday on the weekend. Fine dining and fancy restaurants seem to agree with our little lady. Happy Birthday wishes from the Reids!

Our Lollapalooza years, gone but never forgotten.

IMG_0662Ok, I have to admit I’m still trying to figure out the Seattle area tourist attractions. Shopping, discount shopping and coffee yes, but other than that, taking people to see the Kurt Cobain memorial recently seems to end up being high on the list of things to see & do with our out of town guests. That said, we went with Brenna & David to see the memorial bench at Viretta Park. Only two photos from all the pictures I took that day had this glowing aura – both perfectly framed on this tree. As Colin says, it is most likely a speck of dust or water droplet on the lens but hey, I thought it was still kind of neat.

IMG_0680I am sure if we had gone hiking, I probably would have also taken a picture of Bigfoot too. Maybe next time.

Thanks to B & David for bringing out the sun with them, a fun visit and the retro ice-cream truck experience. “More B please.”

eBay is eBad

I have recently discovered eBay and no good can come of this. Now Craig’s List on the other hand is useful. I’ve used it before for buying & selling and the price is the price which is nice. But eBay on the other hand is evil. It’s like electronic gambling except presented under the guise of buying stuff. Buying other people’s garbage at over inflated prices all for the thrill of the win and to avoid the agony of defeat. And what do I have to show for this addiction? Some old Fisher-Price Sesame Street figures, that’s what. So send me yours today! We still need Susan to complete the set. I start the bidding at $0.99
