Roxanna and Colin turn 37 today. Let the celebrations begin! Check back throughout the day for real time updates.

[14:33] We got the party started early this morning celebrating with friends and pony rides at the park. Colin had to settle for walking this time but seemed to enjoy the pony ride none the less.

     Makena, Jackson & Roxanna all turned 2 this month!

And despite the cupcake energy booster, we were somehow able to round up all the kids for a group photo. Next stop, home for a nap.

[16:22] Colin opens the first gift of the day, Mario Kart. He Wii’lly Wii’lly likes it!

[20:44] Best birthday present of the day, cuddling with Simon in her new rocking chair.

The Birthday kids each have their own cake made specially by Grandma Lois.

Roxanna and I are back from another fun family visit and truly enjoyed the warm summer weather, local tourist attractions, catching up with old friends and, of course, large family gatherings with large amounts of food. Unofficial family motto: You haven’t had enough to eat, until you’ve had too much to eat.

  Like traveling back in time, I am sure this is the original African Lion Safari mascot costume.

  Everyone rides the ice-cream cake sugar high. “Congratulations Risa!”
