Academia and the pursuit of life long learning

IMG_3999We were so proud to receive Roxanna’s preschool acceptance letter in the mail this week. She has been accepted into the preschool program of her choice for the fall. And what ranks as the #1 criteria for a toddler when choosing where to start off her academic career? Well a classroom that has a guinea pig “friendlier than Simon” ranks high for our girl.

Love is in the air. Wearing a doll dress seems to bring out a softer, gentler side to Simon as he submits to a quick cuddle. That or the dress limits his ability to make a quick escape. That school guinea pig is going to be in for some loving from Roxanna, self proclaimed animal rescuer.

If Roxie doesn’t experience any itching problems snuggling with Simon, she should be okay with the g-pig as well. I believe they belong in the same rodent-type family. That said, awwwwwww.
