The rainy weather let up long enough to make way for a family trip to the zoo on the weekend. It was awesome. A nice quiet day to explore and without the crowds we were able to get up close to our favourite animal exhibits.

Although the official petting zoo portion is closed until late spring, this friendly banana loving stroller riding squirrel provided for some indigenous little critter entertainment.
